David Charles Swanson

David C. Swanson, 68, of Kent passed away peacefully on March 10, 2022. Dave worked for Saint Gobain for 40 years before retiring in 2020. He absolutely loved his job and was skilled in all positions.

He was a caring man with a big heart. He was a loyal friend to everyone who knew him and wouldn't miss an opportunity to help someone. Dave was fun-loving and enjoyed time with family and friends. He also had an affinity for old cars (especially those from '64 and '66) and car shows.

Dave was a devoted husband and partner for 36 years to his wife, Suzanne; a loving father to his son, Thomas Murphy and daughter, Rebecca Murphy; an excellent Papa to Gabrielle and Isabelle, and a Great-Papa to Lao; a caring brother to Sandy (Bob) Buchanan, Judy Antos, Pam Pappish, Cindy (Steve) Friedman, and Chris (Bill) Putra, and their families; brother-in-law to, Joe (Chris) Smerick and family, and Michael (Jennifer) Smerick; and son-in-law to, Mary Smerick. Dave will also be deeply missed by many cousins and friends.

Per the request of Dave, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dave's life will take place at a later time.
