David W. Forshey, 58, of Springfield Township, passed away June 6, 2007 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. A Vietnam veteran, he retired from the Hygenic Corp. with 40 years of service. He was a member and officer of the Sons of Herman Lodge. Preceded in death by his parents, Delores and Norman; brother, Earl; and father-in-law, Danny Lee. He is survived by his soulmate of 35 years, wife, Nancy; son, Danny (Michelle); daughter, Tammy (Shaun); brothers, Norman (Marie) and Robert; sister, Marlene (Randy); sister-in-law, Karen; mother-in-law, Ruth Lee; and his 3 beloved grandchildren, Nicole, Tyler and Anthony. Calling hours will be 5 - 9 p.m. TODAY at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Duane Ray officiating.
