Davilla Adeline Fergusson

Davilla (Dee) Adeline Fergusson, age 78 of Akron passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020. She was born in Akron, Ohio to Robert O. and Betty E. (Haag) Morris, who preceded her in death.

Dee will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 56 years, to the date, Donald (Don) Fergusson Sr.; siblings David, Dorian, and Dale Morris (all of Nevada); "sister" Linda Morris (of Nevada); children Donald (Julie) Fergusson Jr., Diane (Bill) Baksa, and Denise (Leslie) Butler; grandchildren Daisy (of New York) and David Fergusson, Daulton and Danielle Baksa, Kristine Costa (Aiden Jung) (of New Jersey), Michael and Heather Costa; and many nieces and nephews.

Our mom was a beautiful wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was a formidable business person, being at the helm of Fergusson Trucking since 1970 alongside her husband, Don, in the Firestone Park area. While running a business, she also worked at and retired from Prudential Insurance in 2004.

Our mom loved spending the majority of her time with her loved ones, who all enjoyed her infectious laugh. Whether it was camping at Harrison Hills Campground or traveling with her friends and family, our mom took every chance she had to enjoy the moment. Some of her favorite adventures were traveling to different states such as California, Arizona, Nevada, and Florida with her friend Barb Gabriel; gambling at casinos; reading various books and novels; assembling jigsaw puzzles (no table was too small); playing card games like Hand & Foot with everyone, including her friends Connie, Becky, Rhonda, Kim and Cookie; and cooking meals for anyone who entered her home (or camper).

Per our mother's wishes, cremation has taken place with no formal services. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
