Dean E. Bunn
Dean E. Bunn, 82, of Canal Fulton, died March 31, 2008 at Chapel Hill Community. He was born in Akron, Ohio on August 11, 1925 to the late Earl G. & Anna (Hinton) Bunn. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army. Dean graduated from North High School and attended Akron University before graduating from Ohio University. He was an electrical engineer and worked in the space program designing communication systems for satellites. Dean is survived by his former wife, Carol Bunn; daughters, Valarie Moore, Karin Bunn and Claudia Bunn all of California; sisters, Doris Troyer of Canal Fulton and Marilyn Bean of Plain Township; and granddaughter, Jessica. A funeral service will be conducted at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Sandra Hutchinson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. Thursday until the service begins. Interment will take place Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with a procession forming at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m.
