Debbie Lynn Ball, 63, passed away peacefully November 14, 2020 at 2:56 a.m. at U.H. Portage Medical Center after battling complications caused by COVID-19 and other known underlying health conditions. Debbie was born January 31, 1957 at the Women's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Debbie was a resident of Newton Falls, Ohio since 2012.
Debbie is survived by her daughters; Crystal Civitarese, Deborah Polanco (William Parks Sr.*), Reba Ball, Veronica (Shauna) Civitarese-Rutan, Marybeth (Mark) Sigmund, and Shirley Ball. Her siblings; Margaret Hildreth, James (Rose*) Ball, Georgia Ball-Kaase (Lonny) and her two children. Debbie's grandchildren, who knew her as Mammaw; Brandon Civitarese (Kenzie Shea), Anthony Crabtree (Torey Frame), Cameron Crabtree, Amber Beer, Haylee Parks, William Parks Jr., James Parks, Makayla Matta, Hunter Civitarese, Helen Civitarese, Christian Kennedy, and Tonya, Monique, Alexis, Robert Jr., and Alania Hutson. Her nieces and nephews; Brian Brown and his four children, John "JJ" (Jessi) Brown Jr. and their two children, Tammy (Sonny) Shipp, Rachel (Billy) Sprinkle and their three children, Jimmy (Laura) Ball and their three children. Her stepmother; Shirley Corley-Ball and her three children. Her beloved friends; Donna Shiflett and Charis (Brian) Kepich and children. Her fur-babies; Bobo, Lily, and Rosie Ball. Her fur-grandbabies; Layla Rose, Chance, Rocky, Maggie, Prince, Harley, Molly, Diesel, and Daisy Civitarese.
Debbie is welcomed in Heaven by her parents; Gerald Ball Sr. and Geraldine Ball. Her brother; Gerald "Russy" Ball Jr. Her grandmother; Margaret Beightler. Her sons-in-law; William "Bill" Parks Sr. and Raymond "Ray-Ray" Crabtree. Sister-in-law; Rose Ball. Her beloved friends; Doris (Charles) Draves, Glenn Goff, Mary Laughlin, Nancy Murphy and her fur grandson; Tank Civitarese.
Debbie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who sought the best in every person who blessed enough to meet her. Debbie spent fifteen years of her life opening her home and fostering children- impacting the lives of so many. She loved watching her TV shows, such as Chrisley Knows Best, Maury, & Steve Wilkos. Debbie will be remembered for her fun-loving, vibrant personality. Her favorite activities included playing board games and cards with her grandchildren, going to BINGO/Casinos with her sister and nephew, cuddling with her kitties, shopping on WISH, collecting her "treasures", and being with her family every chance she got. Debbie had an exceptional love for music, with some of her favorite artists being Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, and other classic country artists.
