Debora Kay Wood, age 61 of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on September 8, 2021.
Debora was born on September 27, 1959 in Akron, Ohio to Roger and Linda (Bixler) Busch. She graduated from Garfield High School. She married her husband Jerry in 1980. Debora retired from American Medical Response as a medical billing supervisor. She enjoyed baking and gardening, especially flowers. Her family was her whole world, mainly her grandson. Debora and Jerry moved to Lakeland, Florida in 2019.
She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Busch.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Smith, her loving husband, Jerry, son, Eric (Amanda) Wood, grandson, Oliver Wood, sister, Jodi Busch, brother, Robb (Amy) Busch, and, step-father, Denny Smith.
Friends and family may come to call on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron.
