Deborah A Thompson

Deborah Ann Thompson (Rogers) "Nanny" 57 passed away unexpectedly March 17, 2012. She was born in Akron to Russell and Grace Rogers. She graduated from East High School in 1973. Debbie loved being in the outdoors, reading, but most of all, spending quality time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Thompson; parents, brother, Bruce Rogers; sister, Sandy Beech.

Debbie is survived by daughters, Chrissy (Shane) Golden, Tara (Josh) Wigner, Lisa (Tom) Beans, Jonise Barry; grandchildren, Taylor, Tori, Tanner, Abagail, Allyson, Joshua II, Maddie; brothers, George (Andrea) Haughawout, Clifford (Bev) Haughawout; sisters, Peggy (Dave) Stewart, Sue (Ron) Dorion; special friend, Dave Ellebruch; Many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Debbie was loved by so many, especially by her grandchildren, who called her Nanny. We will always love her and miss her deeply.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday March 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday March 22 from 11-12 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 12.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made directly to the family.
