Deborah Ann Hamilton

Deborah Ann Hamilton (nee Lenke), 74, died suddenly on July 21, 2023. Born in Akron, Ohio, to Richard and Alberta Lenke, she was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alberta Lenke; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Luther and Lillian Hamilton; and brothers-in-law, Gerald Hamilton and Richard Jenkins.
Debbie was a life-long member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, attended St. Vincent de Paul grade school and graduated from Buchtel High School. She worked at the Home Heating Co. and Goodrich Tire and Rubber Co. She was a lifelong caregiver to many furry felines.
She was married to the love of her life, Eugene "Gene" Hamilton and they recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.
She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband, Gene; her children, Hollace Hamilton (partner Shane Fonderlin), Jeffrey Hamilton (partner Melissa Cohill); sisters, Kathleen Peters (Jeffery), Constance Lenke, Rebecca Jenkins; brother-in-law, James Hamilton; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 164 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44303.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
