On Monday, April 5th, 2021, Deborah Mullinax, loving daughter, wife, and mother of three daughters, passed away at age 68. Deborah was born on April 18, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to Robert and Charlene (Powell) Putnam. On May 24, 1986, she married Michael Wayne Mullinax. They raised three daughters, Julie, Rachel, and Nicole.
Deborah loved traveling to Florida to visit her mother anytime she could. She also loved to spend time with her family and bragging about her grandchildren. She was an avid music lover, particularly when it came to The Beatles and Rod Stewart. For 25 years she worked at The Corral Sandwich Shop, and later spent 12 years at Six Corners Deli. She was known for her infectious smile, compassionate heart, and most of all being the "Mother of Goodyear Heights."
Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Robert, stepfather, Richard, and her brothers, Robert Jr., and Gregory. She is survived by her mother Charlene, her brother Martin (Connie), her husband Michael, her three daughters, Julie (Robert), Rachel (Chris), and Nicole (William), her four grandchildren, Natalie, Gavin, Camryn, and Sidney, and a host of other relatives. Calling hours will be held from 12:00pm - 2:00pm on Saturday, April 10 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Memorial service to follow at 2:00pm.
