Deborah L. Price (Fassnacht)

Debbie, age 70, of Akron, suddenly and unexpectedly left us on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was born on January 20, 1951 and graduated from Ellet High School in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kacy Fitzgibbons which brings us comfort to know they are together again. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Price and her father, Donald Fassnacht.
She is survived by her mother, Stella Fassnacht (Baker); her daughter and best friend, Heather and son-in-law, Michael Fritz; sisters, Susan Fassnacht of Stow, Cindy Fassnacht of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren who were the lights and love of her life: Frankie and Faith Fitzgibbons and Zayne Fritz; niece and nephew, Malissa (Brian) Takacs and Matthew (Kelly) Takacs; and many, many cousins.
She was an avid Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians fan. She loved crafts, puzzles, computer games, and Strickland's banana ice cream.
Debbie was the most selfless, giving person and would do anything for anyone before herself. There will be a huge void and emptiness in all of our hearts that will never be filled.
From her sense of humor to her generous and caring nature, she will be deeply missed by all of us.
Cremation has taken place. Debbie's life will be celebrated on Friday, January 7, 2022 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. followed by a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m. Debbie will be privately laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park.
