Deborah K. Stringfield

Deborah K. "Debbie" Stringfield, 72, passed away on December 28, 2022, at home with her daughters by her side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Lorenzo and Marion (Gutenberg) Jones, she resided in the area most of her life in addition to 8 years (1979-1987) in which she lived in Arizona. Debbie had a strong Christian faith and served in various roles within her church family. She loved making memories and spending special times with family and friends. Debbie was very artistic and she enjoyed crafting, quilting/sewing, painting, and mosaics. She also enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. Sunflowers were her favorite flower to grow.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her siblings, Sherry Long, Becky Simon, Timothy Jones, and Willie Jones. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Trisha (Ken) Price, Brenda (Damon) Greer; grandchildren, Lyndsay (Tyler) Webb, Kelsay Price (Tony), Landry Price (Nick), Abbie Greer (Austen), Mitchell Greer; siblings, Mary (Karl) Boss, Jesse (Maru) Jones, Candy Teets, Tammy Jones, many nieces, and nephews.

On Monday, January 16, 2023 family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Debbie. Guests will be received starting at 2:00 pm with the service to begin at 3:00 pm. A light meal will be served immediately following the service. The service will take place at the Community Church of Portage Lakes, 3260 Cormany Rd, New Franklin, Ohio. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Debbie's name to Ohio Living Hospice.
