Cleota Dean Harsh was the name she was given on the birthday she shared with her daddy, July 15, 1932. She would like you to know her as Mrs. Jeffrey Lawson in the end. She was a beauty queen in high school and had a heart of gold. She would have given all she had to the ones she loved.
Dee leaves behind children Dan Everly (Eileen), Karen Staats (John), Mark Everly (Annette), Don Everly (Sandy), sisters Shirley Doolittle (Harold) of Randolph and Helen Lipscomb (Allen) of Aurora WV; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jeff, parents Clayton and Lydia Harsh, sister Mary Jane Hanline and brothers Stanley, Oran and Melvin Harsh.
Dee ran her own business for 35 years taking care of elderly people with grace and dignity. She loved to cook and bake and made the BEST cheesecake in the world, travel and most importantly, spend time with her family and friends.
