Delbert Floyd McBee, 87, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away in Michigan on June 28, 2010. Delbert was born February 10, 1923 in Harrisville, WV to the late Otto and Bessie McBee. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the City of Cuyahoga Falls Water Department. Delbert was very active in the Grace Brethren Church and throughout the years enjoyed traveling to visit his grandchildren in Brazil and family in England. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Iris McBee; sister, Dorothy Berry; in-laws, Fredrick and Minnie Gregory; and brother-in-law, Walter Gregory. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Janice McBee Roth (Albert) of Waterford, MI; grandchildren, Gregory Randall Roth (Jennifer), Heather Marie Daiello (Michael), Camilla Olivia Roth; great-granddaughter, Alana Grace Roth; and numerous other relatives and friends. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m., Pastor Eloy Pacheco officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
