Delila Mae Bishop, 75, of Suffield, passed away November 27, 2009. Delila was born January 18, 1934 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to the late Chester and Jesse Smith. She retired from the Tallmadge City Schools and later worked at CVS. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her. Delila was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Bishop. She is survived by her daughter, Diana (Jeff) Twiddy; son, Steve (Amy) Bishop; sister, June (V.J.) Griffen; brother, C.M. (Gail) Smith; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron OH 44333.
