Delores A. Gholston

Delores A. Gohlston, 87, passed away peacefully December 31, 2021 with her family by her side. Born in Cleveland, Ohio she lived most of her life in the Akron area. She previously worked as a teachers aide for the Community Action Council. Delores greatly enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, reading, watching old movies, and spending time with her beloved family.

Preceded in death by her mother, Anna Farley and husband, Earl V. Gholston. She will be sadly missed by her children, Catherine Stewart, Ben Kimbrough, Steven Kimbrough, Lorraine Kimbrough (Clarence Cook), Shawn Sutton (Annette Dampier), Lois Sutton, Tammy Sutton Davis (Robert Davis); grand children Tiffany, Carolyn, LaMarr, Dawn, Ski J, Delorean, Seante, Gentri, Nicole, Noel, Michelle, Miyuana, Micheal, Kevin, Anastasia, Steven Jr., Meekie, Shavon, Cierra; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and special friend, Jean Sims.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a memorial celebration of Delores' life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Delores' name to the charity of their choice.
