Delores Ann Harrison-Robinson

Delores A. Harrison-Robinson, lovingly referred to as "Cooky", went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 28, 2021. She was born in Columbus, MS on April 1, 1951, the daughter of the late William and Ozella Sykes.
In addition to her parents, Cooky was preceded in death by her sister, Linda (Marvin) Minter.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and is survived by her husband, Aaron Robinson; son, Brian (Pearline) Sykes; daughter, Monica (Felix) Renfroe; niece, April (Khirah) Morgan; siblings, Flora (Rev. Larry) Scott, William Charles (Tina) Sykes, and Barbara (Eric) Brown; grandchildren and great grandchildren; Aunt Willie Mae Sykes; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Cooky was a long time resident of Akron, OH. She relocated to Columbus, OH in 2015 and was a devoted member of Lincoln Park Community Baptist Church (Pastor Franklin Carter) where she wore many hats and took great joy in serving the Lord. Her infectious laugh, charm and larger than life personality had an impact on everyone she met. She will be truly missed.
Funeral arrangements will be handled by Newcomer Cremation, Funerals and Receptions. Services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Second Baptist Church located at 690 S. Main St, Akron, OH 44311.
Calling hours will be from 12pm - 1:00pm followed by Celebration of Life Service.
It was Cooky's wish to be cremated following services. Condolences can be sent to 82 S. Napoleon Ave, Columbus, OH 43213.
Flowers may be sent to Second Baptist Church. No repass will be held due to COVID.
