Delores V. (Reed) Parsons, 87, passed away June 21, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Her quiet strength and quick wit endeared her to all who knew her.
Her husband of 66 years, Harold "Jack" Parsons, passed away before her on April 16, 2020.
Delores dedicated her life to raising their five children (Larry Parsons, Jack (Connie) Parsons, Annette Falasca, Tracey Parsons, and Karie Parsons) in the Akron area where she was born and raised. Her crowning glory are her 10 grandchildren: Jason, Erin, Angela, Bronson, Tino, Julie, Alyssa, Alex, Aaron, and Jack: and 5 great grandchildren.
Delores loved watching her favorite western shows, including Gunsmoke, and playing bingo with her sister and seeing all her friends at the Greentown Athletic Club.
Along with her husband, Delores is predeceased by her father and mother, Francis and Sarah "Minnie" Reed, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a granddaughter, Jacqueline M. Falasca.
No calling hours or services will be held. The family will have a Celebration of Life for Delores and Jack at 1pm on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at the Russell Pry Community Center, 3857 Mogadore Road, Mogadore Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, please make your memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
