Denise Marie Urdiales, 65, of Akron, passed away on October 14, 2023 at her home. She was born on October 12, 1958 to the late Adolph and Geraldine {Etheridge} Urdiales.
In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her husband Marty Schmidt, former husband Randy Holland, and brothers Don and John Urdiales.
Denise is survived by her loving mother of 50+ years, Mary Ann Urdiales; sister, Judi (Jay) Rogers; best friend Julie; nieces and nephews Jennifer, Lacey, John (Amanda), James, Jessica (Tyson) and Josh; countless cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; the Schmidt family; special friends Gail, Donna, Lorraine (Jim) and Paul; cat, Sassy.
Denise had a big personality, and made friends wherever she went. She loved getting on the trike motorcycle with Marty, letting the road take them wherever they wanted to go. Florida was her favorite destination, especially the beach. Denise also loved to host her friends and family. Cooking was her way of saying "I love you," and her salsa was to die for!
Above all, Denise loved spending time with her family. She was always incredibly generous and kind, and no matter the circumstance, she was always there.
She will always be in our hearts, and just remember: Love, Peace and Margaritas, forever!
