Dennis Lee Batley

Dennis Lee Batley, 66, passed away June 24, 2023 with his family by his side. Born in Wadsworth, Ohio to Kenneth and Bernice (McDonald) Batley, he was raised in Seville and later resided in Kenmore all of his adult life. Denny enjoyed horse racing, car racing, playing cards, seeing live bands, fireworks, gambling and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Denny will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years, Patti; sons, Michael (Paul), Scott (Sarah), Brian (Jen), Josh (Meghan), Chris (Susan); grandchildren, Rylan, Peyton, Maddie, Carson, Rowan, Ella, Landyn; sisters, Diane (Darold Matheny), Denise (Brad Dearth); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, July 3, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A celebration of Denny's life will take place immediately following at Akron Firefighter's Local 330, 161 Massillon Rd, where food and refreshments will be provided.
