Dennis "Joe" Clark, 60, of Kent, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was born in Akron on June 3, 1952 to the late Francis and Ruby (nee Mitten) Clark. Joe was owner of Akron Belting which he established in 1989. He was an avid fly-fisherman and enjoyed golfing, Civil War history, driving his Honda S2000 and spending time with his grandsons.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Susan Clark; daughter, Sarah (Joseph) Mentzer of Akron; grandsons, Keegan and Seeley ; sisters, Margaret Schmitt of Medina and Rebecca (Jack) Bayonnet of Akron; brothers, Frank (Nancy) Clark of Kentucky, Tom Clark of Hudson, Steve (Sue) Clark of Suffield and John (Alicia) Clark of Tallmadge. Friends may call 4-8 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. Matthew Parish, 2603 Benton St, Akron, OH 44312.
