Dennis Bernard Shaw

Dennis Bernard Shaw, "Denny", age 77, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died on March 16, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 15, 1943 in Akron, the son of the late Billy Harlan Shaw and Lillian May (nee Hannan) Shaw Angelo.

Denny was an honorably discharged US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a sharpshooter and a 2nd Class gunner.

Mr. Shaw worked and retired from Chrysler after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising and training dogs, and loved cocktail hour, however, his greatest joy was spending time with those he loved.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Tracy (R. Douglas) Sanders; his grandchildren, Douglas Sanders and Christopher (Kaylee) Sanders; his great-grandson, Douglas Liam "Little Man" Sanders; and his beloved companion, Wanda Bard.

Other than his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his step-father, Frank Angelo.

Funeral services will be private, however, public visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio.
