Dennis Norman Thayer

Dennis Norman Thayer, age 75 of Akron passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. on April 23, 1946, the son of the late John and Laura {Ferrier} Thayer.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother John.
Dennis will be dearly missed by his son Jack (Terri Hulihan) Thayer; brothers Wayne and Gary (Christina) Thayer; two nephews, one niece and their families; many dear friends from all walks of life.
Dennis was a 1964 graduate of Green High School, and was employed as a chemist at PPG and Goodyear Research, before his retirement in 2005. He was a trusted servant and longtime friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob. Dennis served on the board of Dr. Bob's Home for many years.
