Dennis E. Topper

 Dennis “Denny” Eugene Topper of Tallmadge, OH passed away on January 30th after a brief illness. He was 74 years old. Denny was born on January 31, 1950, in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Hower Vocational High School in 1968, followed by an apprenticeship as a machinist. He received his Journeyman’s certificate in 1973. He worked as a machinist for Gil Machine Co, Seiberling, and finally Goodyear, where he spent the bulk of his career. He loved clocks of all kinds, repairing them as a side business as well as collecting them. He was also known for his love of motorcycles and his family. 

He is survived by his brother Rob (Carolyn) Topper, son Sam (Jaime) Topper and daughter Leila Hanes. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Gary (Jane) Topper. Denny was a no-frills kind of guy, so according to his wishes, no services will be held. Denny was a dog lover and rarely seen without his companion, Spike.

He will always be remembered as a loving father, son, and friend, and for having the loudest laugh.
