Denver Edward Mccolley Jr.

Denver E. McColley Jr., 60, of Akron, passed unexpectedly on April 19, 2020. He was born on March 18, 1960 in Akron, Ohio. Denver graduated from Tallmadge High School, and went on to serve in the US Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and liked to sit on his porch and listen to the wolves howling at the nearby zoo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Anderson; grandparents, Don and Elenor Hackathorn; brother, Billy J. McColley; and aunts, Donna, Delores, and Joan.
Denver will be deeply missed by his daughter, Courtney McColley; ex-wife, Kim McColley; brother, Donald McColley; sister, Sylvia Woodford; nephew, Robert (Rachel) McElwain; and great-nieces, Zoey and Julie McElwain.
