Dewitt F. Keyton, Sr.
Dewitt F. Keyton, Sr., 70, of Akron, passed away March 20, 2006. Dewitt proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from Metokote. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha ; daughter, Becky McArthur; and other siblings. He will be deeply missed by his children, Dewitt F. (Lisa) Keyton, Jr., Ricky (Bonnie) Gatlin, and Vera (Robert) Snowden; grandchildren, Dewitt, Joshua, Ashley, Shanda, Rikelle, Kenneth, Bobbi Jo, Robert, Brandon, and Travis; close friend, Irma Sterling; brother, Lindy Keyton; a host of other family and friends. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with Rev. Phil Hulgin officiating. Family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery with military honors provided by Mogadore VFW 8487. Online condolences may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com.
