Diana Lyn Davis, 40, of Akron, Ohio passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her home. Diana was born in Barberton and graduated from North High School, Class of 1991.
Diana was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Davis and beloved dog Holly. She is survived by her loving parents James E. Davis, Sr. & Barbara; brother, Tony Davis; sisters Brenda Davis & Debbie (Ben) Davis; nieces & nephews; special cousins; and best friend Jeannie.
Calling hours will be on Friday, February 1, from 2 to 4 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 4 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Fellowship and dinner for the family will follow at Tallmadge Church of the Nazarene, 191 South Munroe Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 2, at Highland Cemetery in Garrett, PA, where Diana will be laid to rest next to her beloved brother, Jimmy.
