Diane C. Kidd, 48, of Akron, passed away October 27, 2006. Diane was employed as a cook at Pillitiere's Restaurant. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, and arts and crafts. She was a wonderful mother and will be missed by all who knew her. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary Murphy; brother, Mark Murphy; and grandmother, Etta Marks. She is survived by her children, Dana and David Setting; siblings, Debbie (James) Nitzsche, Norman Murphy, Tammy Murphy, and Kim (Everett) Basford; special niece, Buffy (Ed) Sprietzer and family; nieces and nephews; and best friend, Russ A. Kidd. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Stow Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com.
