Diane E. Redrick, age 82 of Kent, Ohio, died on June 5, 2023 at her home.
She was born on October 1, 1940 in Akron, the daughter of the late Homer and Rose (nee Wencke) Redrick.
Diane liked to visit casinos, gamble and play bingo. She liked to shop and being with her family, especially going out to eat. Diane always had a smile on her face. Her greatest joy was enjoying the holidays with her family and friends, she still believed in Santa Claus.
Diane worked at Weaver School as an aid.
Survivors include her cousin, Mary (Craig Blake) Wencke and Brandon Fouts; her best friends, Karen Wiley and Vicki Calcei; her sister-in-law, Judy Durney; and her aunt, who is 102 years old, Edna Wencke.
Other than her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her two brothers, Donald Redrick and Joey Durney.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, 44305 on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 1:00- 2:00 PM.
Funeral services will take place immediately following the calling hours at 2:00 PM.
Diane will be privately buried in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
