Diann M. Staton (nee Williams), born September 29, 1943, went to be with her Lord on September 6, 2012.
Preceded in death by beloved husband, John, Sr. "Jack"; parents, Jane and Charles Williams; stepfather, James Ferguson; brothers, Charles (Barb) and Robert; and granddaughter, Heather.
She is survived by brothers, George (Mary), John (Rita), Greg (Candi); sister-in-law, Ellen; sons, Jeff (April) and Charles; daughter, Jane (Dewey) Gillespie; stepchildren, Linda, John, Jr., Debbie, Cindy, and Jenny; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and extended family. She was the center of our lives and will be deeply missed.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 12, from 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, September 13 at 10 a.m. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
