Dinah Lynn Weyand

Dinah Lynn Weyand (nee Travis), of Wadsworth, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. She was born in Barberton, Ohio on November 16, 1952.

Dinah was a 1971 graduate of Springfield High School and had many lifelong friends from her school days. Dinah was passionate about family and friends. She loved ball games and performances, traveling and reunions, big holiday gatherings, backyard BBQ's and singing along to every tune that came on the radio. She also adored being grandma to her grandchildren the past 22 years.

Dinah is survived by son, Thomas J. (Elizabeth) Weyand of Wadsworth; daughter, Nancy (Andy) Koha of North Carolina; son, Michael (Julie) Weyand of Wadsworth; son, Scott (Jamie) Weyand of Norton and daughter, Kathryn Finley of Michigan; grandchildren, Aimee, Andrew, Amelia, Nathan, Johnny, Claire, Callie, Addy, Fred and Kendra; and great-granddaughter, Capri. She also survived by brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Carol Travis of Virginia, brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Joyce Travis of Cuyahoga Falls, and sister-in-law, Sandy Travis of Barberton; along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who have been extended family over the decades.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nancy Travis; loving husband, Thomas E. Weyand; sister, Jessie Brown (Travis); brother, Homer Travis and sister, Lisa Wemyss.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Emanuel United Church of Christ, 16 Eastern Road, Doylestown with family receiving friends at 2 p.m. and service at 3 p.m. The Reverend Gaye Santoro will perform the service. At Dinah's request, a meal will follow the Ceremony in the fellowship hall.

Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth will occur at a later date.
