Dixie Persons, born September 8, 1944 in Parkersburg, WV, passed away on November 29, 2011.
Preceded in death by her mother, Edna Henthorn. Dixie is survived by her husband, Paul, of 49 years; daughter and son-in-law, Cristi and Russell McKee; granddaughters, Amanda and Audrey of Friendswood, Texas; cousin, John Roy Staats of Summersville, WV. Also surviving are brothers-in- law and sisters-in-law, Bud (Jan) Persons, Doris Cass, Pauline Persons, Dave (Beverly) Persons; many numerous nieces and nephews. Dixie was a licensed Real Estate Broker with Kathy Reid Realty, a member of the Akron Area Board of Realtors for 42 years serving on many local and state committees.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, December 3 from 10-12 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a service immediately following callings hours.
