Dolly Charlene Thomas

Dolly Charlene Thomas, 74, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024. Born in Barberton, Ohio to Albert and Mary (Peacemaker) Funk, she resided in Akron most of her life. Charlene enjoyed animals, plants, flowers, listening to music, traveling all over our country and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Erika George; 8 siblings. She will be sadly missed by her children, Chuck (Sam) Friend, Paul Friend, Cathy Neeley, Tex George, Albert (Angela) George; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Charlene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
