Together Again
Dolores Jean Halman, 80, passed away on Saturday, October 9 after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Knob Noster, MO and met and married the love of her life, Eugene. They had five daughters together and relocated to Ohio after Eugene was honorably discharged from the U.S. AirForce.
Dolores drove school buses for Springfield Local Schools and retired in 2008 after thirty years of service. She loved camping and spending time with family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed being a grandmother and a great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gene, her parents Charles and Laverna, brother Charles and sister Donna.
She is survived by her five daughters, Sherrie of Florida, Donna (Bill)of Akron, Tracy of Akron, Marla of Ravenna and Shellie (Tom) of Randolph; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 of Friday, October 15 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 noon. Following service, a committal service will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where Dolores will be laid to rest next to Gene .
