Dolores Faye Klepper

Dolores Faye "Dodo" Klepper, age 88 of Suffield passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022. She was born in Akron on September 2, 1933 to the late John F. and Beulah B. {Oxford} Meyers.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Baskel Klepper in 2006, their daughter Susie Seese, sons Roger and Mike, two infant daughters and five siblings.

Dolores will be dearly missed by her children Roy (Stephanie) Klepper and Gail (Terry) Savanich; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother Dave (Sandy) Meyers; many nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Dolores volunteered as a dispatcher and EMT for the Suffield Fire Department for over 15 years, and was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary and Mended Hearts. She was also a Boy Scout and Campfire Girls Leader, and a longtime member of Cornerstone Church. Dolores enjoyed puzzles and being outdoors, especially camping, gardening and traveling. She loved attending Oxford family reunions, and making memories with family.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday April 6 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., and again on Thursday April 7 from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, where Dolores will be laid to rest with Baskel, Roger, Mike, Susie and their infant daughters.
