Dolores Puckett
Dolores Puckett, 88, of Tallmadge, passed away May 22, 2013. She was born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky on January 17, 1925 to the late Christopher Columbus and Leontine Stapleton.
Dolores was a wonderful storyteller and an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. Above all, she was devoted to her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Wise C. "Junior" Puckett and her four siblings.
She is survived by her children, Barry (Janice) Puckett, Barbara (Tom) Phelps, Ronald Puckett, and Robin (Don) Raleigh; grandchildren, Laura Puckett, Bryan Puckett, Tommy (Charity) Phelps, Kristy (Jeff) McKee, Crystal (Jayson) Terrell, Corey Raleigh and Dustin Raleigh; great-grandson, Jordan Terrell; sisters-in-law, Rebecca and Roberta Stapleton; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday May 24 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10-11. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery.
