Dominick "Dom" Anthony Diaz-Francis

Our beloved Dom, 17, was taken from us unexpectedly on February 1, 2020. Dominick was so full of life, with a heart bigger than you could imagine. He had an unforgettable smile that could light up a room. He left a memorable impression on so many lives. He loved spending time with his family, especially his little sister. He loved watching and playing basketball. He had a passion for fashion, he always dressed to impress.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Tammie Diaz; and best friend, Amber Thoma.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Mary Francis; father, Jason Diaz; sister, Angelena Diaz; grandparents, Antonio and Patricia Francis, and Ismael Diaz; special aunts, Jessica Norris, Toni Francis, and DeEtta Kennedy; uncles Jim Tennant and Brandon Diaz; cousins Nicole Norris, Dylan Tennant, Logan Tennant, Mateo Williams and Natalya Carter; girlfriend Nicole Smith; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 12-4 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio. A celebration of Dom's life will begin at 4pm.
