Don F. Auerbach

Don Auerbach, age 78, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed peacefully into the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 19, 2025. Born on April 10, 1946, in Akron, Ohio. Don lived a life marked by faith, service, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

A proud graduate of Kenmore High School, class of 1964, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Connie (Gungle), of 58 years. He was a man of deep faith, and his dedication to his beliefs was evident in his actions. He proudly served in the Ohio Army National Guard. He faithfully volunteered at Akron Pregnancy Services, where his compassionate heart and dedication to helping others made a lasting impact. Don’s evangelistic spirit and his genuine warmth and kindness drew many to him. He had a gift for sharing the Gospel and spreading the love of Christ.

Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a devoted friend. He cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Over the past few years, Don was blessed to be a part of the Tamarack Ridge community where he flourished as a result of his friendships with staff and residents. He also enjoyed football, fishing, and sharing laughs with others. His infectious humor and genuine interest in others made him a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew him.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Connie; two children, Kevin (Luann) and Kristen (Chuck) Haver; six grandchildren, Katie, Nathan, Jacob, Bree, Joshua, and Becca; as well as all of his extended family, who will miss him dearly.

Don's legacy of faith, love, and service will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, but his family takes comfort in knowing he is now rejoicing in the presence of his Lord and Savior.

Please join us to celebrate the life of Don F. Auerbach on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at St. Luke's Church, 3810 Ridgewood Road, Copley, OH 44321. Receiving friends and family beginning at noon. Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM.
