Don E. Mathieu, 83, passed away Feb. 27, 2012. He was born in Altoona, PA on Mar. 27, 1928 to the late Emma and Albert. He was also preceded in death by four sisters, two brothers, and one grandchild. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; brother, Howard (Jackie); children, Don Jr. (Claudia), Judy (Anthony), Joy (Craig), Tammy (Jim), Debbie (Bob), Dennis (Stacey), and Dale; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Don was loved by many and will be missed. The family wishes to thank St. Thomas Hospice and the aides who gave such good care. Family and friends may call on Thursday, Mar. 1st from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
