Dear LORD, Forgive
Don Juan 'D D Powell, the Youngest of 7 Siblings, was born October 22, 1963 and raised in Kinston, NC to the late Evelyn B and Warren H Powell where he was brought up in Gethsemane SDA Church. He was preceded in death by his Eldest and Next to the Eldest Brothers, Fredrick Bryant Frizzelle and James Allen Powell. He attended both private and public school and earned his College Degree in Computer Science and Programming from Lenoir Community College. DD later moved to Akron, Ohio to work in his field of study and became Owner and Operator of his own Business.
D D's Legacy is Son, Adrian Holloway - Mother, Gwen of Kinston NC and Daughter, Donielle Powell- Mother, Sandy of Akron Ohio. Sisters, Evelyn I Powell, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Julia J Rollins of Kinston, NC, Brother, Reddrick "Ronnie" Powell of Kinston, NC and Sister, Hope C Coleman-Brown of Kinston, NC. Special Brother, Maurice V Parker of NW Washington, DC and Sister Niece, Shontikki N Powell of Districts Heights, MD and Brother Nephew, Roderick Frizzelle of Chapel Hill, NC.
Other Nephews, Nieces, Great Niece and Nephew, Aunt Cousins, Cousins and Great Cousins. Nephews, Dorian J Powell and Michael J Coleman-Powell of Kinston, NC. Nieces, Javalda, Javonda, and Jamillia Powell, Aunt, Willie Powell of Tea Neck, NJ.
