Donald A. Cheeseman, Jr. (Donnie)
Donald A. Cheeseman, Jr., 57, of Green, passed away February 26, 2007. Donnie was born September 24, 1949 to the late Don and Carrol Cheeseman, Sr. He graduated from Garfield High School and attended Akron University. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a manager at both Richman Bros. and J.C. Penney. He was an avid sports fan and had done sports broadcasting for Akron University football games. Donnie will be deeply missed by his sons, Kevin (Hope) and Ryan (Jody), both of Surprise, AZ; daughter, Jessica (James) Gregory of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Jean (Tom) Kohut of Cuyahoga Falls and Kathy (Jim) Fisher of Green; grandchildren, Reilly, Jacob, Jillian, Jordan, Connor, and Camden; aunts, Hazeljean Adams and Shirley Reffner; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Interment at Glendale Cemetery with Mogadore V.F.W. Post 8487 providing military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
