Donald Chester Duff, "Don", age 81 of Akron, Ohio, died on February 3, 2022.
He was born on January 2, 1941 in Akron, the son of the late Chester and Mary Helen (nee Davis) Duff.
Don was incredibly proud of his sobriety for 50 plus years. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed riding his Harleys. Don also enjoyed traveling and he loved his dogs.
Survivors include his nephew, William "Bill" (Cindy) Lockhart; his great-nephew, William Russell "Rusty" Lockhart; his great-great-niece, Bailey Smith; his good friends, Mike and Barb Cowans; and his former wife, Carolyn Duff.
Other than his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Beatrice Williamson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries.
A special thank you to the caregivers at Pebble Creek Nursing Home for their compassionate care shown to Don.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
