Donald E. Cummings, Sr., 95, of Akron, passed away on September 26, 2011. He was born in South Fork, PA on December 3, 1915. He lived in Akron nearly his entire life and retired from Herman Machine. He is survived by his son, Don Jr. (Irene) and granddaughter, Debbie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty. Visitation will be Friday September 30 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu fo flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
