Donald G. Leap

Donald G. "Don" Leap, 62, passed away on January 16, 2012. Don loved his grandkids and Doug's Dinner Bucket. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, bicycling and the outdoors. Don enjoyed spending time camping in Salt Fork. He was also an animal lover. Don will be remembered as a kind, pleasant person. He will be missed by many! Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elsie Leap. Survivors include daughters, Jeannine Lewis, Stacy Dempsey, and Chrissy Leap; sons, Gary, Donald (Marci), Ronald, and James Leap; sisters, Lynn (Gene) Heyden, Diana Favia, and Patricia Leap; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter. Special thanks to Great Lakes Caring Hospice for their care and support during Don's illness. Calling hours will be Friday, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 p.m. , with Rev. Nan Taylor officiating.
