Donald W. Gostlin

Donald W. Gostlin, 85 of Suffield, Goodyear retiree passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 18, 2018. Donald is preceded in death by late wife, Betty Gostlin of 52 years. He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Valerie Gostlin; brother, Dave (Jackie); sister, Marilyn (Frank); children, Don (Vicki), Dan (Joanne), Cindy (Ken), Penny (Mike); step-children, Tami (Danny), Dale (Lori), Mary and Tim and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. Donald enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, traveling, gambling and playing euchre, and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 21, 2018 from 6-9pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Funeral service will be held on Saturday September 22, 2018 at 12 noon at Firestone Park United Methodist Church 250 N. Firestone Blvd. Akron, OH 44301. Pastor Sam Martin officiating. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Summa Hospice.
