Donald "Ray" Hazelton, 76, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2006. Ray was a veteran of the Korean war, having served with the US Air Force. He retired from the Ford Motor Company-Walton Hills after 35 years of service and was a member of Southeast Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by his parents Norman and Mildred; brothers Arlie, Charles, and Gilbert; and sister Verna. Survivors include his loving wife Jane of 49 years; sons Rev. Paul (Jacki) of Pickens Chapel, AR and Daniel (Connie) of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters Janet (Jay) Watson of Knoxville, TN and Beverly Hazelton of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Matthew, Laura, Mark, and Anna; great-grandson Gregory; brothers Darrell (Shirley) of New York and Ralph (Erma Jean) of Ohio; sister Mildred (Jim) Park of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law Sarah Hazelton of Florida, Eva Hazelton of Ohio, and Betty (William) Johnson of Montana. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Monday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Rev. Paul Hazelton officiating.
