Donald Earl Johnson

Donald Earl Johnson, "Don", age 93 of Hudson, Ohio, died on July 15, 2022 in Akron.

He was born on June 8, 1929 in Akron, the son of the late Walter and Lucille (nee Frasher) Johnson.

Don attended St. Eugene Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls.

Don was a retired district manager with the Akron Beacon Journal for many years. Some of his hobbies included playing golf, watching baseball and attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events.

Survivors include his loving wife, the former Kathleen Trettel, whom he married on October 6, 1962; his children, Jeff, Monty (Kathy) and Russell (Erin) Johnson and Julia (Todd) LeFever; his grandchildren, Hayley, Darby, Olivia, Shelby, Abby and Kayla Johnson and Ian LeFever.

His brother, Howard (Sylvia) Johnson also survives.

Other than his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother, David Johnson.

There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11 AM, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
