Donald E. Krites
December 22, 1928 — October 11, 2017
Donald E. Krites, 88, of Akron, passed peacefully surrounded by family on October 11, 2017. He served in the Army and retired from General Tires after 25 years of service. Donald was a member of FOPA Lodge A06 and the Eagles. He loved his polka and country music, playing horseshoes, and spending time with his friends and family.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Krites; wife, Norma J. Krites; and brother, Kenneth Krites.
Donald will be deeply missed by his fiance, Joanne Sponseller; children, Donald T. (Debi) Krites, Deborah (Robert) Nail, Kenneth (Kim) Krites, and David (Janet) Krites; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm with a service to immediately follow at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Road, Akron 44305. Interment private.
