Donald Petty

Brimfield--Donald M. Petty, 78, went home to be with the Lord on January 31, 2006, at his residence. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and retired from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. after 47 years. He was a proud member of URW Local 2. Survived by loving wife Evelyn of 56 years; son Larry (Terry); daughter Lisa (Brian) Oblisk of the Bahamas; and grandchildren Erynn "Toby" Petty and Jared and Marissa Oblisk. He also leaves sister Margaret Weitzel of Cuyahoga Falls; brother Jerry Petty of Florida; special half brother Jim Archer; and numerous other half brothers and sisters. At Mr. Petty's request, there will be no services or calling hours. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank Hospice of Summa with special thanks to Leslie Williams, RN and Rev. Michael Shaub.
