Donald Leon Richards – brother, father, uncle, Papaw, token hippie – died on March 19th. Born the third of seven to Margaret and Leon in Akron, he met Peggy {Myers} during the 3rd quarter of the football game between their two schools when he invited her then boyfriend to join his big band.
They married in 1964 and had 3 children, Vincent, Brian "BC", and Monette (Steven) – the latter being their favorite.
Don had a lifetime love of trains, music and baseball, through which he met many of his dearest friends. He was known for going to concerts with his oldest grand-daughter, Deidre, where he was granted the title of Honorary Lesbian.
He was given 9 lives and lived 10 of them.
