Donald E. "Don" Selby
Donald E. "Don" Selby, 54, passed away on December 14, 2006, after a brief illness. Born February 22, 1952 to the late Paul and Mary Jean Selby. Donald was a life resident of Akron and graduated from Ellet High School in 1971. He was the previous owner/operator of Fiesta Pizza and Chicken in Ellet for 25 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Vicki Selby. Survivors include his daughter Norma Jean Selby; special sister Lora (Jeff Williams) Selby; brothers Richard Selby and Tim (Karen) Selby; 9 special nieces and nephews; and best friend, his dog Cinnamon. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Sunday, 2 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Pastor Chuck Whetsel officiating. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.Newcomerfamily.com.
